How to get there
You should arrange to be in Capri by Saturday afternoon, October 10th.
There are hydrofoil departures for Capri from Molo Beverello which is in front of Piazza Municipio, the last stop of the Airport bus, from 7 a.m. to about 6 p.m. (crossing takes about 40 min). You should therefore arrive in Naples no later than 5 p.m.
If you arrive at the Naples Capodichino Airport, you can either take a taxi (taxies should display in the car exact fares, avoid taxie that don’t display fares and counter) or take the Airport bus (Alibus ANM - the ticket costs 3 Euro, may be purchased on board and is valid for 90 minutes for use on all local public transport) to Piazza Municipio. Buses depart every 30 minutes from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm
The distance from Rome to Naples is 200 km.
Please see the train timetable at the following web address: Train Info.
Thus, an alternative to a direct flight to Naples would be to take a train from the Rome Fiumicino Airport to the Rome main Railway Station (Stazione Termini) and from there catch a train to Naples (about 2 hours). Trains stop in Naples either at the Mergellina Railway station or the Stazione Centrale or Campi Flegrei. From either of the last two Stations, you can take the Metropolitana, get off at the Mergellina railway Station and from there walk to the Mergellina harbor. When you reach the Capri Marina Grande, take the Cable Railway to Piazza Umberto and then walk to the Hotel.
The address of Hotel La Palma is: Via Vittorio Emanuele 39, Capri (Tel. +39/081-8370133; Fax +39/081-8376966) where the Workshop will also be held.
